Meet Our Head Teaching Associate

Karinda Bani
Karinda has been doing physie for 40 years and teaching for over a decade. She has been part of junior, senior and ladies national winning teams, won 2 National titles as a junior competitor and been a part of many senior and ladies National finals. Karinda also has a coveted dance career dancing as a professional cheerleader in the NRL for over 10 years and many other exciting dance opportunities.
Karinda is a mum of 5 and when she is not dancing, she works as a Youth Worker at Noosa Flexible School. With degrees in both psychology and public health, the wellbeing of our young people is at the core of everything she does.
After relocating from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast, Karinda felt it was the right time to give back to the sport that has given her so much over the years and so Coolum Physie Club was established. She is excited to build a club that fosters friendship and fun and allows physie girls and women to truly connect to who they are and others around them. Holistic wellbeing is key!
